About the Artist
Nemanja Nikolic is a Serbian UK-based abstract expressionist artist who has exhibited his works at galleries in London and throughout Italy. Entropy, colour theory, texture and composition form the essence of his abstract paintings, and he constantly seeks the most pleasing mix of every component. Often using non-traditional tools and in possession of a wide range of artistic skills, he produces pieces marked by subtle texture, consistent colour and an engrossing pull.
Nikolic holds a BA in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts Bologna and an MA in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts Brera Milan, Italy. He has resided in the UK since 2011 and has amassed a large network of international collectors and Instagram followers. His major influences are Gerhard Richter, Mark Rothko, Kazemir Malevich, and Caravaggio.
